“Here you go. . “ Hinata’s voice is just above a whisper as she delicately places a squirming housefly (using tweezers, of course!) within the sticky jaws of the venus flytrap plant she was tending to.  “Lunch time!”

The plant slowly closes its jaws around its prey and a sense of pride swells within the young woman.  This carnivorous plant was nearly dead when she’d rescued it a few weeks ago from a hardware store.  Now it was thriving.  She couldn’t wait to show it off to the gardening club.  Gently, she returns the plant to the window sill in the science room. 

“Oh!” Pale eyes widen in surprise as she turns and notes the presence of another in the otherwise empty classroom. A young man, glossy brown hair tied back messily out of his face in a bun; Yuma Mukami ( @sadisticbloodlxst ). Another student. Had he just entered? Or had he been there the entire time and she’d simply been too focused to notice?  

Immediately she goes to apologize, despite having done nothing wrong.  Old habits die hard.  Hinata bows deeply. “Oh, umm, I’m sorry, I — I didn’t realize you were here. I was just checking on the plants in the window. . Umm, I think the science professor often forgets they’re here and. . “ She trails off.

[You walk up to Yuma.]

Yuma: Oh, it’s you. What’s up?

[You say that you wanted to see how Yuma was doing.]

Yuma: Aren’t you tired?

[You tell him honestly.]

Yuma: Heh. Figures. We’re in the same boat. Well, about this… The soil’s so bad here that even if you properly take care of the garden ‘n try to grow somethin’, only desert vegetation could survive here. The soil’s pretty much dead. I actually wanted to try growin’ those seedlings over there, but I gave up.

[Yuma sits down on the ground.]

Yuma: Ah… And the garden was thrivin’ only a little while ago.

[You ask him whether it has to do with Karl Heinz’ death.]

Yuma: Well, yeah. This castle was like an extension of Himself. I know I pledged my allegiance to protect this place earlier, but I’m already feelin’ anxious. Relyin’ too much on a parent ends up bitin’ you in the ass after all.

[You pick up some gardening tools.]

Yuma: What’re you doin’? I just told you, the soil’s done for.

[You quote what Azusa and Ruki were saying earlier.]

Yuma: Heh. Hahaha! Well, you’re right. Can’t knock it ‘til you try it.

[Yuma joins you to till the soil and plant the seedling.]

01:57 Yuma: Thanks. It’s not like me to be all gloomy and pessimistic. ‘N to have you worry about me.  Alright. Now we just pour some water on it.

[You were going through the soil with your hands, but you end up cutting your finger.]

Yuma: What’s wrong? Oh. Ah, there’s broken shards of something in the soil. C’mere.

[Yuma pulls you with him to the sink to clean the wound.]

Yuma: This is Eden soil, so there aren’t any weird bacteria here, but… Underestimating these things won’t do us any good. Well, this should be clean enough. And lastly—

[Yuma puts your wounded finger into his mouth.]

Yuma: Your blood’s really sweet. Heh. I don’t think I could ever get enough of it. I want more. You owe me now, anyway. I won’t let you say no.

[Yuma bites you.]

Yuma: It’s your fault for having such delicious blood. I’m not of much help, am I? I only just healed your wound, ‘n now I’m hurtin’ you again. Heh. Thanks for the blood. 

[Yuma pulls away from you.]

Yuma: Agh… I’m getting sleepy. I’m goin’ back to my room. Sleep tight. And thanks for the help.

[Yuma walks off. Some time passes, and the scene shifts to Ruki bursting into your room while you were sleeping.]

[You sit upright.]

Ruki: I’m sorry to bother you while you were resting, but there’s no time. I need you to be quiet and come with me.

[You walk over to Ruki. He grabs your hand.]

Ruki: We need to hurry. I don’t have time to explain. Let’s go!

[The two of you run off.]

Ruki: Just now, I received word from a familiar that the Vibora are heading towards Eden. They must be looking to conquer this castle or to destroy the morale of the Vampire race. It took them long enough, and yet this is still quite sudden to us.

In any case, you need to hide. Aside from this castle, they must intend to capture you as well.

[You’re surprised and ask him why.]

Ruki: Word is spreading fast about the Adam’s Apple Plan. Everyone now knows that Karl Heinz has recognised you as the Sacrificial Bride of the Demon World. Some want to use you to ascend to the throne.

[The door slams closed.]

Ruki: This is the Room of Time. You could see it as Karl Heinz’ living room, in a sense. This is the most secure room he had, located in the innermost part of the castle. You should lay low here while the commotion subsides. The rest of us will fight to protect Eden, like we discussed yesterday.

[You ask Ruki if they have any forces backing them up.]

06:12 Ruki: Not at all. It’s just the four of us. Not even the Sakamaki family knows what has become of this castle.

[You ask Ruki if there’s anything you can do.]

Ruki: All you can do is stay here, We have no reason to fight out there if we don’t know that you’re safe. Heh. Don’t look at me like that.

[Ruki suddenly pulls you into an embrace.]

Ruki: You were about to start whining. I know. Let me hold you. Just for a moment. I can’t let my brothers see me like this, after all.

[You stroke Ruki’s back.]

Ruki: Heh. Stop it. I’m not a child. It feels quite nice, though. Don’t tell the others, alright? Take this as a sign of my gratitude.

[Ruki bites you. It takes you off-guard.]

Ruki: Don’t act so surprised. This is more of a reward to you than anything else, after all.

[Ruki bites you again.]

Ruki: Ah… That’s enough playing around for now. I have to go back. You know what to do, right? Don’t leave this room under any circumstance. When things calm down outside, I’ll knock on the door four times. That’s when you can come back out. I’ll see you then.

[Ruki walks to the door and opens it.]

Ruki: Goodbye, Eve.

[Ruki closes the door behind him, leaving you all alone. The scene shifts to the brothers’ inner monologues.]

08:50 Ruki: Just like that, we went to meet an unknown fate.

Kou: I wonder if He expected things would turn out like this. However, we strongly believe this isn’t a trial that we can’t overcome. 

Yuma: We’ll protect Eden… and we’ll protect Eve. In the end, we probably won’t be able to obtain the Apple, but…

Azusa: Still… we have no choice but to move forward.

Ruki: As we dreamt of a new dawn breaking from the East of Eden, the next chapter in our lives silently began. Nobody knows what’s waiting for us on the other side of this fight.

You were walking down the stairs at school when you twisted your ankle at the last step. "Ow..sh- wait.. Ruki I think I twisted it.." Ruki stopped and looked at you with his piercing glare, "Really livestock... you can't even go down the stairs?" You blushed in embarrassment, "I'm sorry-" Ruki cut you off. "If you want my help, then you should ask your master for it, right?" Your whole face turned red and the pain in your ankle was suddenly not on your mind at the moment. You tried to answer, but your flusteredness was affecting your speech. "Well livestock?" Looking at the floor, you quietly said "Please help me m-master..." A sly smirk crossed his face as he effortlessly picked you up and headed to the limo. You were extremely flushed from the looks you were getting from the others.

♧ KOU ♧

-"My poor little kitten!!!"

-"I'll take care of you if you take care of me...."

It was lunchtime at school, and Kou had his entourage around him as usual. You kept your distance because they had some weird claim over him. Anyways, as you were walking past his table, one of them tripped you, causing you to fall on the floor covered in your lunch. Panic filled your body when you realized you couldn't get back up. Pushing his fangirls away, Kou arose and had fake worry written his face. "Oh no~ my poor little kitten! Are you okay?" Your face twisted in pain as you looked at your swollen ankle, "Y-yeah.. I think I just twisted it.." Kou let his mask drop a little before picking you up like you weighed nothing. "I'll be back, my little kittens! I have to get the clumsy cutie to the nurses' office!" As he was walking away, you looked over his shoulder at the disappointed girls starting up random gossip. He was humming softly as he carried you through the corridor to the nurses' room. "Kou, you didn't have to do that..." Placing you on the little gray table, he laughed, "Oh, don't worry, little maso-kitty~ I'll make sure you repay me~" You noticed his sweet smile turned to a sadistic one as he leaned in and bit your shoulder.

♧YUMA♧

- Laughs his ass off

-"Hahaha little pig stop your squealing... this is what happens when you're this weak."

- didn't even help you right away... he went to get his sugar cubes so he could have a snack and a show..

Helping Yuma in his garden was something you did regularly. Whether that'd be watering the plants, pruning the leaves, or digging holes; you still loved helping all the same. On rare occasions, he'd even reward you for your hard work. However, this particular time, your clumsiness got the best of you when you tripped over a pot in his green house. You hesitantly called out Yuma's name to no avail... so you did the next best thing. Crawled. You crawled all the way to the middle of the garden and stopped to take a breather. You looked over and saw Yuma's polished shoe in front of you. Trailing your gaze upward, you saw Yuma looking down at you with the biggest grin on his face as he popped another sugar cube in his mouth. "Poor little piggy... I heard you sqeaul earlier hehe.. what happened?" You embarrassingly fiddled with a leaf on the ground before mumbling out how you tripped over a pot. That sent him over the edge. He started laughing so hard at you that he nearly choked on a cube he had in his mouth. "Shit, little pig, how weak and stupid are you? Hahahaha-" You knew not to let his words get to you, but for some reason, they did sting this time.. "C-can you just help me out, please..." This wasn't good... you felt tears pricking at your cheeks, and the last thing you wanted to do was cry in front of him. Yuma stopped when he heard your quiet sniffle. He knealed down and placed his cool hand on your face, lifting it up to look at him. He had an amused smirk written on his face as he wiped off one of your tears. "I almost feel sorry for you, piggy. Say ahhh~" You were humiliated, but you did what he said nonetheless. He popped a sugar cube in your mouth before leaning in and giving you a kiss. The sugar cube melted between the heat of your kiss. He pulled away and then picked you up. "Consider that a reward for calling for your master to help you~ Now let's get you all fixed up."

♧AZUSA♧

-"oh... no, are you... hurt? Did... the pain feel... good?"

-"Hurt me... too..."

-helps you but wants you to take out some of the pain on him as well.

Azusa was practically glued to you, and you didn't really mind... until you tripped over his foot from him being too close on the stairs. Falling down at least six steps, you landed directly on your leg and heard the most sicking crack ring through the silence. You immediately let out the most blood-curdling scream as you held your leg. Azusa looked down and saw your swollen leg. He ran his hand over it, "Wow. .. eve... it's burning... up..." You whimpered slightly at his touch, "Azu.. can you help me please -" It felt hard to breathe from the pain of your fall; the muscles in your leg were on fire. "Of course... eve.. any... thing for you..." Surprisingly, he was able to pick you up and carry you to Ruki's room so they could take you to the hospital. "Eve...? Do you... think you can hurt me.. like that... too?" He looked down at your face with puppy dog eyes only to see you passed out from the pain. Turns out you broke your leg in 3 places. Incredible.

"Michael? Michael!" The youngest sibling hears his name being called out. "Yes?" "Ah Michael, there you are" his older brother Thomas approached him with a piece of paper. "Listen, I've got a date with Dextra and I need you to water the plants in the greenhouse for me" Michael raises his eyebrow. "The greenhouse" "Yes" "The one place that no one else is allowed in?" " Yes! But I need your help, Michael!" "I'd love to-" "Great! Here's the list. I'll see you later" "Wait! Thomas" But the second eldest was already running to the front door. Michael sighs and looks at the paper that was shoved into his hands. "Everything okay?" He turns to see Chris. "No. Thomas wants me to water his plants in the greenhouse, but Yuma's picking me up in half and hour for our double date with Reginald and Astral" "Well I could assist you. We could get it done in time before Yuma picks you up- Wait, double date?" Michael nodded.

"Reginald and Astral? They're together?" "Yeah They are" "And I thought Thomas and Dextra was an odd couple" Chris muttered. "Anyways, let's see that list" Michael handed him the paper. Chris pulls out a pair of glasses. "Since when do you wear glasses?" " Thomas's handwriting is small and in cursive" Michael hums in agreement. "This shouldn't be too hard" "Check the back" He turns over the paper and finds more. "Let's get started then" Chris sighs, placing his glasses away in his jacket pocket. The two head over to the greenhouse, removing their jackets since it was got inside. "You take the front half of the paper, I'll take the back" Michael nods, taking a picture and goes off to find the plants. "Okay Hydrangea. It needs about an inch of water? Okay" Michael grabs a watering can and adds a few drops to the plants. "I hope that's enough? Okay, next is the Damask Rose" he walks around more and comes across the pink flower. It had a strong rosey fragrance compared to the others. "It requires 0.8 cups? I guess I'll give it a little like the Hydrangea? Thomas really shouId've explained this more"

Michael wasn't the only one struggling with the water amounts, Chris was having trouble too. "A gallon of water for the Amaryllis? That seems like a lot for one plant. Is this even right?" Chris picks up the hose. "Okay, one gallon of water it is then" He turns on the hose and stands there for a while and then turns it off to look at the next plant on his list. "The Chrysanthemum needs an inch of water?! It went from a gallon to an inch. I need to have a serious talk with Thomas when he gets back" The two continue on watering Thomas's plants, guessing the amount of water that they need. Outside the mansion, Yuma arrived to pick up his boyfriend. He knocks on the door. "Ah Yuma Tsukumo. Long time no see" "Hey Vetrix, is Trey in? We have a date tonight" The child nodded. "Yes he's in. I last saw him with Chris heading to the garden" "I see" "Do come in" Yuma walks inside. "Trey? Trey, you there? We have our double date with Shark and Astral!" No reply. "Trey-" Suddenly a scream was heard. "HELP!" "Trey!"

Yuma runs over to the greenhouse and opens the doors. Inside, he sees Quinton and Trey, being held my some plant. It resembles a Tropical Pitcher Plant. "Yuma! Help!" Calls his boyfriend as the plant's vines reach out to grab him. He quickly dodges and runs over. "What happened?" "Thomas failed to mention about how he owns a carnivorous, man eating plant!" Says Quinton, hanging upside down. "I'm gonna look for something to free you" Yuma runs around the greenhouse, dodging the vines trying to grab him. He spots an axe and grabs it before making his way back to his boyfriend and Quinton. "Don't worry. You'll be free soon" He raises the axe when someone calls out. "Don't you hurt Tabitha!" Yuma turns around. "Tabitha?" Stood in the doorway was Dextra and Thomas. "What happened?" "Your monster of a plant is trying to eat us!" "Two things: 1. Tabitha isn't a monster and 2. She's not gonna eat you. She's just thirsty and usually picks me up to make watering her easier" Thomas explains, approaching the plant. "Now Tabitha, place my brother's down" Tabitha places the two brothers down and picks up Thomas instead.

"Here you go" He uses the discarded hose to feed Tabitha and she placed him down. "See? Completely harmless. She is a carnivorous plant yes, but she only eats insects, not humans" "You could've mentioned that in your paper!" Exclaims Michael. "Didn't I?" "No!" Replied Chris and Michael. "I'm sorry, I through I did. Here, Dextra some Azaela for your Pipevine Swallowtails" he hands her a plant pot of pale pink Azaelas. "Thanks Thomas. This'll do nicely for them" she smiles. "We should get going now, Trey. Before Shark gets mad at us" "Agreed. See you, and next time, mention about the giant plant" Thomas nods sheepishly as Michael and Yuma leave. "You're late" says Shark, glaring at the two approaching. "Sorry we had some issues" "What kind of issues?" Asks Astral. "Tabitha" Shark and Astral look at each other with confusion. "What?" "We'll explain later. Shall we see the movie?" They walk in, well Astral floats, into the movie theatre.

“You’re up early today, Eve,” Azusa’s voice made Sayo turn around.

She had been walking through the kitchen to get to the back door. The weather was nice, so she had decided to take a walk before getting ready for school. She loved the garden. Yuma’s vegetable garden was always impressive, and the rose garden was beautiful, not to mention serene in the moonlight. The aroma that filled the air was relaxing. 

“I’ve told you, Azusa, you can call me Sayo,” she smiled. “I woke up earlier than usual. Want to take a walk with me?”

He nodded in response with a small smile. She held the door open for him as they headed outside. When they reached Yuma’s garden, she knelt down in front of the strawberries she had convinced Yuma to plant with her help.

“I wonder if these will be ready to pick soon…”

“I hope they are…” Azusa kneeled down beside her. “Do you like strawberries…Sayo?”

She smiled, happy he was using her nickname. “I do. You like them too, right?”

“They are sweet,” he nodded. 

“They are,” she laughed lightly as she stood.

As they continued on their walk, Sayo’s phone interrupted their conversation. She didn’t get calls from anyone other than her friends, so she found it a bit odd since she would see them soon at school. Sure enough, when she looked at the caller ID, it was Kisa.

“Sorry, one sec,” she told Azusa before answering. “Hey Kisa, what’s going on?”

“Are you able to watch tv right now?!” Her voice sounded anxious, yet excited.

“I’m outside with Azusa right now. How come? Is it something important?”

“Oh, well…” she mumbled, thinking it over. “No, it’s not too important. I can tell you about it when you get to school. Tell Azusa I say hi!”

“Sure,” Sayo replied before Kisa hung up. “Kisa says hi. Although, you probably heard?”

“Yes…I think I’ll come with you to greet your friends…when we get to school.”

“Really?” She grinned. “I’m sure they’ll like that.”

“Sayo…” he was now staring in the direction of the rose garden. “Can we look at the roses?”

“Of course. I think the roses here are the prettiest I’ve ever seen,” she said as the two headed in that direction. 

The two spent some time sitting amongst the roses, talking about all sorts of things. This was the first time she had spent so long with him in a while. 

“Do you think…we should go back inside soon?” Azusa asked after a while.

“You’re probably right,” she sighed, fiddling with one of the roses in front of her. 

She wanted to take it back with her but thought it would be a shame to cut it. Azusa got up to start heading back, so she quickly got up to follow. However, she let out a small yelp of pain. One of the thorns had scraped against her palm because of the hasty movement, creating a long, yet thin cut. Beads of blood were already forming. She should have been more careful. With how many roses there were, there were probably ten times as many thorns to watch out for. 

“Sayo…?” He turned, a look of concern on his face.

“I’m fine, I’m fine,” she laughed at how silly the mistake had been. “I got caught by a thorn, no big deal.”

“You…” 

He was staring at the trail of blood running towards her wrist. He took a few hesitant steps towards her before stopping, his eyes looking anywhere else. 

“Sorry…” she muttered. “I should have been more careful.”

“Can I…lick it?” There was obvious hesitation in his voice. 

She didn’t see the harm in it. She stepped forward, holding her palm out.

“Yeah, that’s okay, Azusa.”

His hands gently took hers as he leaned down. She decided not to watch as his tongue glided against the cut and then down towards her wrist. But when she thought he was done, Azusa let out an almost inaudible moan, one that sounded a bit pained. As she looked over, his fangs pierced her wrist.

“Azusa…?!” She exclaimed, rather shocked.

He had been acting so timid, she never would have expected this. Unfortunately, she also didn’t expect what came next…

“You bastard!” 

She was suddenly knocked down to the ground. Her head hit the stone corner of the rose planter, causing her vision to go blurry. But she could still make out that Azusa had also been thrown to the ground, a few feet across from her. 

“Who do you think she belongs to?!” Kou was screaming down at him. “How dare you even think about touching her!”

“No…” she mumbled, trying but failing to get to her feet.

Kou continued to yell and scream at Azusa, who was still on the ground. Kou even went so far as to start kicking him because of his rage. 

Sayo couldn’t understand why this was happening. Kou was acting like a spoiled child that had his toy stolen. But that’s exactly how it was, wasn’t it? She was the toy, and Azusa taking her blood was the equivalent of stealing her in Kou’s eyes. 

She couldn’t let this continue. They were brothers. There was no good reason for Kou to treat his brother like this. She managed to get to her feet despite how dizzy she was and grabbed onto Kou’s arm, preventing him from trying to hit Azusa. 

“Stop it! Why do you keep hitting him?! There’s no excuse!”

“Like hell!” He flung his arm, causing her to fall once more. “You just let him take your blood! Is this how it really is?! Do you not care which one of us it is?! Well?! Would you let anyone take your blood if they asked?!”

She wasn't able to respond. He dropped down, grabbing her by the throat as his other hand tore her shirt open. She couldn’t tell which hurt worse…the fact he was strangling her or how hard he was biting into her shoulder. 

“Sayo…!” Azusa exclaimed. 

“K…ou…!” She clawed at the hand that was squeezing her throat. 

Her vision was beginning to go dark.

“Get the hell off of her!” Yuma yelled.

Her throat was suddenly released. She coughed and wheezed, trying to get some air back into her burning lungs. When her vision finally returned, she could see Ruki, although blurry, staring down at her in shock. Azusa was crawling over to her. There were some bruises forming on his cheek and arms. Kou was on the ground nearby, Yuma standing over him. 

“Hey, Sayo!” Ruki grabbed her shoulders.

She realized that he had been calling her name a few times now. 

“Ruki…?”

“Stay awake,” he ordered. “Your head is bleeding. Did you hit it?”

It took her a moment to recall what had happened. “Yeah…when I fell…”

Someone grabbed her hand, causing her to look over. Azusa was kneeling beside her, in tears.

“Azusa…! Are you alright?!”

“Yes…I’m so sorry, Sayo…” he said before looking up at Ruki. “Will she be okay…?”

“I need to treat her injuries,” Ruki replied. “I’ll need your help, Azusa.”

“Sayori!” Kou yelled. 

He was reaching out for her as he tried to get up. Seems like Yuma had knocked him back to his senses…

“Sayo, I’m sorry!” He was tearing up. “Let me help-!”

“Stay away from me!” She yelled without thinking. 

She watched the pain on his face double as Ruki picked her up. Kou continued to try to talk to her, to apologize and explain himself, but his words faded as Ruki carried her back to the house, Azusa rushing along after them. 

Azusa refused to let go of Sayo’s hand as Ruki went about treating her injuries. She had some scrapes and bruises and the violent bite on her shoulder, but those were minor compared to the gash on her head. 

“It hurts…” she grimaced, squeezing Azusa’s hand as Ruki cleaned her head wound. 

“Just a little longer,” Ruki replied, trying to stay focused. 

“I’m so sorry…Sayo…” Azusa was still fighting off tears. “This is my fault…”

“You’re wrong. It’s mine…If I had thought about…how Kou would react…this wouldn’t have happened.”

“Neither of you are at fault,” Ruki corrected. “This is Kou’s doing, nobody else’s. Do not worry about him for now, Sayo. Yuma is handling it.”

“I feel…so sleepy…” she muttered. 

“Keep fighting it,” Ruki ordered. “I’m going to bandage the wound now.”

“Okay…”

It was extremely hard to stay awake as Ruki bandaged her head wound before moving on to the bite. After he was done, he sat with her and Azusa, the two boys talking with her to distract her from the drowsiness. Yuma came in after a while. She was half asleep, but could make out Yuma telling Ruki he had thrown Kou in the dungeon for now. He asked what had happened, but she didn’t respond. Azusa filled them in instead. Eventually, after some failed attempts to wake her, Ruki sighed. 

“I guess we’ll let her sleep now.”

“Is that okay…?” Azusa muttered. 

“I think it’s fine at this point,” Ruki replied. “Azusa, will you stay and watch over her? I need to talk with Kou.”

He nodded.

“Let’s go, Yuma,” Ruki headed for the door. 

Yuma didn’t want to leave but knew he needed to help with Kou as well. “Right…”

Azusa went back to holding her hand after the two left. “I’m sorry, Sayo…Please…get better soon…”

Makoto: (Today I'm gonna "say sorry" to Kou, but it's too long to wait his sparkling ass to come home. What a drag... Still, I don't really wanna see him.)

Makoto: ( This evening is splendid. Sunset here looks just like the warm dream. It's so calming yet bright... It feels like I want to go home... Where nobody waits for me. No... I hate being at my own place absolutely alone. No good)...

*Creak*

Yuma: Hey, noisy brat! Yer still here? Hasn't Ruki kicked your ass off?

Makoto: Good day to you...

Yuma: Che! Yer look so unattractive today. The heck your problem?

We were watering all the tomato plantations that Yuma have.

Honestly, I've never thought that a vampire would do something this rate of innocence. But, I forgot Mukami brothers are former humans, after all. 

Yuma's garden brings my memories from home, when Uncle, mother and Kaworu-kun, we all were together and everything was happily calm.

Uncle used to plant herbs and potatoes. He was just so happy that his land site had a room for gardening. He also wanted to buy white lyllies due to Kaworu's anniversary...

Yuma: Nothing good in it, yeah. But I'm not completely empty. The body memory still  exists, so I'm not that weak and helpless about that.

Well, since he can’t garden that day, he’s quite bored and out of ideas as to what to do.

He’d be kinda grumpy about it, especially if he was planning to plant something new that day.

“Man, out of all days it has to rain today.”

“You say that every time it rains. It’s mother nature’s way of doing things. You can’t change it.”

“Tch! What does she know?!”

He’d eventually get over the fact that he can’t garden and would sit down and watch a little TV with you, however, he’s always judging everything that’s on.

For example, if a movie or show is on and he doesn’t really like it, he’ll criticize the characters he finds stupid.

“That guy’s an idiot. That’s not how you get a girl.”

“Oh, and I suppose you know?”

“How do you think I got you, little pig.” He’d grin, making you hit him playfully.

On days like this, he tends to get clingy because he has nothing else to do.

Basically, without his garden he’s lost on what to do and will constantly tease and bother you throughout the day.

For example, since it’s rainy outside, you figured you’d make yourself a nice hot chocolate since it corresponded well with the weather.

However, as you were drinking it in the kitchen, he came in and decided to bother you about what you were doing.

“What are you drinking, little pig?”

“A hot chocolate.” You’d smile.

“Oh good, maybe you’ll gain a little and it’ll go where I want it most.” He’d grin while reaching behind to clutch your ass xDD.

“Yuma! Is that all you care about?!”

“Hey, this little pig’s ass belongs to me, so I get to decide how big I want it.”

If you two are cuddling on the couch, he absolutely refuses to let you go. He literally treats you as if you’re his body pillow.

“Yuma, let me go.”

“Fight your way out of it, little pig.” He’d grin, finding your struggle funny.

Since there isn’t much to do on days like this, he might allow you to style his hair any way you want and might even do yours.

Believe it or not, he's an expert at braiding. His favorite style is a fishtail braid and he thinks it looks beautiful on you.

His talent for braiding is so versed that even his brothers might comment as to how pretty it looks on you.

"It looks so . . . nice, Y/N." Azusa would comment.

"Wow little maso-kitty, it looks great on you. Did Yuma do that?" Kou would add.

"As expected, Yuma's known for such styles. You display it well." Ruki would admit.

“Yeah, only the best for my little pig.” Yuma would smirk, a subtle boast in his tone, causing you to blush at his statement.

He likes giving you piggy back rides throughout the house, but he’ll pretend to drop you just to scare you because he’s an asshole.

With all this boredom, Yuma might even get into asking you a few dirty riddles.

"Hey little pig, what's six inches long, goes in your mouth and is more fun if it vibrates?"

"Yuma!"

"Damn, little pig, I didn't know you could be so dirty-minded. I'm just talking about a toothbrush."

"Well it certainly didn't sound that way."

"My god! How could you think such a thing?” He said, acting oh-so innocent, a smirk soon appearing on his face, showing his true colors. “Oh, I get it, you wanted it to be something else."

“What are you-,”

“C’mere, little pig.” He’d say, tackling and pinning you to a nearby couch, starting to tickle you.

"No! Stop!'' You'd squeal, Yuma still continuing to tickle you as you laughed beneath him.

At one point he might grow fed up with the rain and decide to go outside anyways.

"Y’know what, this is stupid. C'mon, little pig. We're not gonna let a little rain tell us what to do." He’d say, taking you by your wrist and dragging you behind him.

"Yuma, wai-,"

He’d continue running and drag you outside in the pouring rain, making you get soaking wet as he picks you up into his arms and spins you around, his lips melding onto yours as he’d hungrily kiss you. He’d soon pull away and put you down, a scowl on your face due to him getting you drenched in mother nature’s tears.

“Yuma! You got me all wet!”

"Damn, I tried to make this romantic and you're complaining about getting wet?"

You’d sigh, “Getting romantic doesn’t mean getting wet!”

“Oh really?” He’d smirk. “Then how come my little pig gets wet every time I-,”

“Shut up!” You’d say, hitting him playfully, causing him to laugh.

Subaru:

Doesn’t care if it’s rainy or not since he doesn’t really go out.

However, if it’s raining at night time and he wants to go in the rose garden, he might be a little irritated about it.

And since he doesn’t have any hobbies, this is a little hard on him.

Plus, since he’s a tsundere, he'll act pretty annoyed in general, even going down to being a total ass.

Compared to Yuma, he gets clingy in a different way--that is, he secretly hopes that you’ll spend time with him since he can’t go out to the garden.

If you’re busy doing your own stuff tho, he’ll attempt to get involved but will act like he’s disinterested in doing so.

But it’s not like you mind him getting involved--that is, if he’s being genuine.

For example, you were once sitting down at the table working on your homework late at night, finishing up the last thing for your assignment when he walked in and came up behind you.

He placed his head in the crook of your neck, being curious about what you were doing as his gaze traveled to the assignment you were working on.

“What are you doing?”

“Homework.” You’d answer.

“Tch! What a pain.”

“It’s not so bad, I’m almost done.”

“Why don’t you just take a break?”

“Subaru, there’s really no point since I’m close to finishing.” You’d say going back to your work, but of course, the white-haired vampire had to persist.

He lifted up his face from the crook of your neck and took notice of your exposed bra strap. A smirk grew on his face and being the tease that he is, he’d take his fingers and use them to pull on it and have smack against your skin just to annoy you and throw you off guard.

“What the hell?”

“It’s not my fault it was right there, you should hide it better next time.” He’d smirk.

If the atmosphere is quiet and he sees you’re busy but doesn’t want to bother you, he’ll just watch what you’re doing whilst you’re busy working and shuffling around doing your stuff. With watching the way your body moves and the look of concentration on your face, it builds up a lot of sexual tension as he'd stand by with his arms crossed in hopes that something intimate happens or is initiated.

He’ll also try to get involved in other things you’d be doing as well, such as crafts.

After finishing your homework, you decided to do something a bit more productive, so you decided to go work on a painting you had been working on. You’d get pretty focused and concentrated, that is until Subaru came up behind you and decided to intervene.

“Painting.”

“Tch! Lame.”

He’d just continue to stand there, his figure still looming over yours. An idea soon hit you. You knew he was bored, so you decided to make painting time a little more fun.

Turning to him, you’d ask, “Hey, why don’t you help.”

“Huh?”

“Help me with the painting.”

“Do I look like Picasso to you?” He’d sarcastically remark.

“Subaru, it doesn’t matter what it looks like in the end. What matters is the fun you have when painting.”

“Tch! That’s stupid.” He’d retort.

Since he didn’t want to, you turned around and began painting again.

Deep down, Subaru secretly found your offer to be sweet since he really didn’t mind helping and wanted to spend time with you, but because he has a hard time expressing his emotions through his tough exterior, it always came off as if he didn’t care.

The white-haired vampire sighed, feeling torn between the feeling of wanting to do something memorable with you versus him getting caught doing something crafty by one of his brothers, but because you were more important, he decided to help.

“Alright, where do you want me to begin?” He’d say picking up a brush and sitting down next to you.

Taken back by his sudden decision, you’d say. “Oh, um, you can start over here.” You’d say, pointing to a blank space on the canvas. “Just paint it blue for now and then I’ll tell you what to do from there.”

He said nothing and began to do what you asked him, both of you working hard on the masterpiece.

While working, you’d occasionally sneak a few glances at him, seeing how his progress was going.

You honestly had to admit how attractive Subaru looked when he was concentrated on something, the way his eyes angled themselves as they narrowed in on the area he was working on, a few stray locks being in his face, his lips being ajar and lurid in the lighting as he continued to work.

To be honest, you definitely had to ask him to paint more often with you.

He definitely looked busy, an idea striking you again but in a more playful aspect. Since he looked so concentrated, you dipped your finger into the paint and smeared some on his cheek.

“Hey! What the hell?!”

You honestly couldn’t help but laugh, leading him to grin, “Oh, you think that’s funny? Then how about this?”

He’d be quick to dip multiple fingers in the paint and smear it all over your face. Accepting his challenge, you were quick to dip your hand in paint and smear it all over his face as payback, but this was far from over.

This ended up becoming an entire paint war, you and Subaru’s laughter echoing as you chased each other about the room and continued to smear and splatter paint on each other, both of you becoming a colored mess as the walls became vandalized in the process.

“I’m gonna get you, Y/N. You’re gonna look like a rainbow by the time this is over.” He’d grin, his hand fully loaded with paint being ready to rub it on you.

“Catch me if you can!” You’d tease sticking your tongue out, whilst running away from him.

It was all fun and games however, until Reiji came in and saw the mess, leading him to scold you two.

“What is the meaning of this?”

You both would be quick to blame it on each other as you’d talk over each other in unison, but Reiji didn’t care to hear excuses.

“Please see to it that this is cleaned up, otherwise I’ll have to discipline the two of you thoroughly.” He’d say, quickly taking his leave as you both laughed about what happened, soon cleaning it up together.

On rainy nights, he might show a bit of a soft side.

However, bear in mind that he will be quick to lean back into his tsundere side if he thinks the moment is getting too soft.

Likes to lay in his coffin with you if you both want to relax. He’ll act annoyed the entire time due to him being a tsundere, but secretly, he loves the fact that you’re next to him.

Likes to have you sit in his lap, while you’re reading, having a blanket draped over the both of you, whilst he’d rest his face in the crook of your neck. He honestly loves being so close to you, but he’d never admit it.

You once put bows in his hair and he was so annoyed by it at first, but he eventually started to find it funny and began laughing with you, but that was all until Laito came in and took a picture of him with his new style.

“Why you!” He’d hiss, quickly running after him to make him delete the photo and beat the living crap out of him for doing that and seeing him in such a state.

On rainy nights, be prepared for a lot of fun and games because apart from paint wars, Subaru can take things to a whole new level.

Since it was raining and you couldn’t go anywhere, you decided to try out a new makeup style.

And of course, he’d have to get into your business and tell you he finds it stupid.

"Tch! Why do girls even wear that shit?!"

“Whatever.” He’d retort, saying nothing else.

You sighed knowing he was bored, so you asked the unthinkable once again to help him cope with not being able to go out because of the rain.

“Just don't make me look like a clown.” You’d warn closing your eyes, allowing Subaru to put on the eyeshadow.

This is when he was struck with a mischievous idea, an infamous smirk twisting on his lips as he applied the makeup to your face.

And after what seemed like quite some time, he finally finished.

“Okay, it’s done.”

You’d sigh, “Finally, I can’t wait to see it. I’m sure it looks amazing.”

“You bet it does.” He’d mutter under his breath, it not being loud enough for you to hear.

Opening your eyes, you looked at your reflection in the mirror and screamed. The makeup looked so bad, maybe worse than a clown.

"Subaru!"

“Ha! What a face!” He’d scoff.

“Ass!” You’d hiss, chasing him around the room as he’d laugh.

Now because you couldn’t let him get away with what he did, as payback you decided to draw a mustache on him while he was sleeping.

When he woke up and saw his reflection in the mirror he grew shocked, and instantly knew it was you who had done it.

(Ik vampires typically can’t see their reflection in a mirror, but I’m not sure about DL here, but let’s just assume that he can considering it hasn’t been mentioned (maybe I’m wrong here??); and also because Reiji implied that some human-made vulnerabilities don’t apply to them, so this might not).

“Payback's a bitch isn't it?” You’d giggle, standing a few feet away from him.

“Now, you're gonna get it!” He’d say, chasing you around to no end, only leaving you to laugh as he kept running after you.

Sometimes it’s best to dress in more loose and comfortable clothes when spending time with your…” he exhaled, “friends.”

He turned to Yuma. “I can’t even imagine if you wore your tuxedo outside. Surely it would’ve soiled amidst all those plants and vegetables you’re growing. Nevertheless, I’m pleased to hear Subaru was impressed with your work, as he should be.” Then he glanced at Azusa. “As long as the hysteric doesn’t lay a finger on you, then I suppose it’s fine for you to refer to him as your companion… for now. The dinner was admittedly enjoyable for me as well.”

Ruki, after the whole livestock-Yui- dying thing... He most definitely blamed it on the other brothers... I mean who wouldn't... Anyways, after that he didn't know what he was doing still following orders for Karlheinz. Did he have something planned or... did he just do this to cause some ruckus?

Ruki didn't see any issue with going to school here, especially since the blood smelt oddly amazing... but he doesn't have any interest in anyone here... he can say that the females here are quite expressive and they sort of have their own flow... though when his eyes gazed upon someone else.. his eyes widened..

The male didn't expect to see such beauty casted before his eyes. The sunlight was beaming off the darker skin of a girl. The females in this school tend to be more on the sneaky side of things, Kou noticed that but his hearing is enhanced so he listens to conversations when he passes by... he may give the girl a flirty smile too... only to see her cover her mouth and look away in embarrassment.

Kou also noticed how many people had earbuds in, closing themselves from the outside world. But he was more interested in this one girl who was sitting alone at lunch. Her hair was so pretty to him, as well as the nails that happened to match her outfit.. he could tell people fawned over her.. considering the people staring at her.. though he couldn't help but realize that she didn't care... softly mumbling the most seductive words to a song with her glossy lips...

He wanted to see her under him, he wanted to see her moaning his name.. Let's just say he's pretty close to doing so... because it wasn't a week later until he had you interested in him.

Yuma wouldn't say... he didn't like this huge change.. he wouldn't say he liked it either.. he was in the firm middle. Obviously he has to plant new tomatoes in his new garden.. and he obviously has to get used to the new people.. they seemed aggressive like him so he actually found it funny...

He found himself being stared at most the time because well, he is tall.. but he also is quite fine. Yuma figured these girls were crazy, he wouldn't say he didn't have fangirls at his old school but they were mostly into his other brothers or the Sakamaki brothers.. but it seemed like he got the more attention now...

He even found himself being invited to watch a whole cheerleading practice.. in which Kou came along because he'd never seen a cheerleading team before.. their old school didn't allow it.

Anyways, Yuma figured he'd be bored about this whole thing but he ended up choking on a sugar cube when he saw one of the girls on the floor doing a dance routine that caused her thighs to jiggle like jello... and the way she moved... she did it fiercely... We all know Yuma likes rude females... so when he heard how loud you were, commanding the other girls to follow your lead... he felt his ears get red.

The dude was in such a trance, especially since your hair was in a cute puff/bun with braids/bun. He also couldn't help but stare at your skin, yeah everyone else had the same dark skin... different shade of course but yours mixed with your beauty was alluring.

He then noticed that the females stopped cheering and your (e/c) eyes were staring right at him when you walked up the bleachers... a smirk casting upon your face when you grabbed your bag that was right beside him...

Oh yeah, he wanted to see you in action... so to test your limit.. over the past weeks he's just been being such a child... but you were used to it at this point.
